Who runs svitok
svitok is run by freym, Spain, which decides how your data is used (the controller).
What svitok keeps
Your X account's handle, name and picture; the X bookmarks you import, with svitok's summaries of them; the questions you ask and their research pages; and your coins. Stripe takes card payments: svitok never sees card details.
What svitok does on X
With your permission it reads your profile and your bookmarks. It never posts, likes, follows or sends messages for you.
Who sees your research
A research is private to you until you share it. A shared research page is open to anyone with its link, together with the bookmarks it cites.
Apps you connect
The svitok CLI, the svitok GPT in ChatGPT and MCP apps such as Claude get a token that asks svitok questions and searches your saves for you, with your coins. You can revoke any token in settings.
Why svitok may use it
To give you the service you signed up for (a contract), with your permission for your X account (which you can take back by disconnecting X), and to keep svitok working and safe and to see which parts people use (a legitimate interest).
Services svitok uses
Supabase stores the data and Vercel runs the site. Google Gemini writes answers and summaries, Jev ranks posts, twitterapi.io and FxTwitter read public X posts, Stripe takes payments, and PostHog counts visits and product events. They get only what their job needs. Some of them work outside the EU, under their standard data protection terms.
Cookies and counting
svitok sets only the cookies that sign-in needs. PostHog counts visits without cookies and without storing anything in your browser.
How long svitok keeps it
As long as your account exists. When you ask svitok to delete your account, it deletes your data within 30 days. Stripe keeps payment records for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and to limit or object to how svitok uses it. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Spain that is the AEPD (aepd.es).
Your choices
Disconnect X in settings to stop reading your bookmarks. Revoke an app's token there to cut it off. svitok does not sell your data or use it for ads.
